Privacy Policy

MEDIA SHOWER, INC. PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Media Shower, Inc., a Massachusetts corporation (399 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116), handles personal information on mediashower.com (the website) and in the Media Shower platform and services (together, the services).

It covers two situations:

  • Website visitors, prospects and customer contacts. Media Shower decides how this information is used, as described below.
  • Customer content in the platform. This includes materials a customer uploads, conversations with the platform, orders, drafts and any data a customer connects or shares. For this content, Media Shower acts as the customer’s service provider and uses it only to provide the services. The customer agreement governs it, and a data processing addendum is available on request.

In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Media Shower, Inc.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the website and deliver the services.

  • Information you give us. Name, work email, phone number, company, job title, and anything you write in forms, demo requests or messages. For billing, we collect a billing contact and payment details, which are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Customer content. Onboarding and brand materials, source content you choose to upload (such as transcripts, video or briefs), conversations with the platform, orders and drafts.
  • Data you share or authorize. Analytics, CRM or similar business data you give us access to.
  • Collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location from your IP address, and cookie identifiers (see Cookies, below).
  • From other sources. Public information about companies and their websites, including search ranking and AI-visibility data from third-party providers such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, personalize and support the services, including delivering work once you place an order;
  • bill you and manage your account;
  • respond to inquiries and schedule demos;
  • send service messages, and marketing messages you can opt out of at any time;
  • keep the website and platform secure, and prevent fraud and misuse;
  • understand how the website is used and improve it; and
  • meet legal obligations.

How customer content is used with AI is covered in its own section below.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or other companies for their own marketing.

We share information only in these cases:

  • Service providers that help us run the services, under contracts that limit their use of the information. They include cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), AI model processing (OpenAI), security and delivery (Cloudflare), code hosting (GitHub), email and office tools (Google Workspace), reporting and analytics (Google Analytics), and payments (Stripe). A current list is available on request.
  • Legal reasons. To comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect our rights, customers or the public.
  • Business transfers. If Media Shower is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
  • At your direction. When you or your organization ask us to share it.
AI and your content

We do not use customer content to train or improve general-purpose AI models, and one customer’s content is never used in another customer’s account. Each account’s company model is built only from that customer’s own materials.

  • AI provider. We use OpenAI’s business API to power AI features. Content is sent to OpenAI only to generate responses for your account. Under OpenAI’s API terms, that content is not used to train OpenAI’s models.
  • Separate accounts. Each customer has its own account. Users on an account share one company model, built from the materials that customer provides and approves, so everyone on the team gets output in the same brand voice. Each user’s conversation history stays private from other users. One account’s content, conversations and company model are never used in another account.
  • How we improve. Our team improves prompts, templates and methods by hand. This does not use one customer’s content to benefit another.
  • People at Media Shower. Your drafts and uploads stay in your private workspace, and our creative team does not begin work on a piece until you place an order. A limited number of authorized staff may view account content, including some conversations, to support your account, fulfill orders and keep the service running.
  • AI can make mistakses. AI-generated output can contain errors, so please review it before you use it.
